Early reggae kings from Buenos Aires, Argentina THE CRABS CORPORATION landed at RK last year with a killer 45 featuring none other than Jen Matthias - lead singer of 80s combo the Belle Stars - and Jamaican legend Dave Barker (Upsetters / Lee 'Scratch' Perry and many more). "Let It Go" / "Reggae Power" was warmly received by critics and music lovers alike, and left many impatient for more. The Crabs wasted no time at all before hooking up with another reggae legend for their second single, and with Nick Welsh (Bad Manners / The Selecter / Prince Buster) aka King Hammond came up with a smashing studio 1 version of Herbie Hancock's famous "Bring Down The Birds".

Follow-up single "Bring Down The Birds (Flying High Mix)" enjoyed considerable airplay on a number of radio shows, including "The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show" (BBC6 - UK), "Stardust In Love" (M2O - ITALY), "Friday Freestyle" (Future Radio - UK), "Funky Friday" (Clandestino - USA), "Nu Soul Food" (Radio Mille Pattes - FRANCE), "Night Light Radio Show" (Europa Plus - UKRAINE), "Go Feet Radio" (Radio Hamilton - NEW ZEALAND), "Jazz Horizont" (Radio Mi - HUNGARY), "Free Pack" (Radio Petrovec - SERBIA) and many more.

Fans of the band stay tuned as they are already hard at work on a brand new 45. And if you're around Buenos Aires you can catch The Crabs Corporation often performing at La Cigale Club, where the next upcoming show will be on Wednesday December 15th, alongside The Relentless. We highly encourage everybody in or near Buenos Aires to check out the band and find out what it is that makes them so special! Crabs Corporation bringin the heat!
