Record Kicks is proud to present CALIBRO 35’s Record Kicks Trilogy Pack. The pack includes the reissue of  three seminal albums by the Italian cinematic funk Kings: “Traditori di Tutti” (Traitors), “S.P.A.C.E.” and “DECADE”, respectively the legendary fourth, fifth and sixth studio albums by seminal cinematic funk combo Calibro 35 on “coloured” chrystal clear vinyl and include the stunning FREE Tote Bag “From Crime Funk to Cosmic Jazz“.  “Traditori Di Tutti” is the first album that the band released on Record Kicks in 2013 and includes many band’s anthems such as “Giulia Mon Amour”, “Butcher’s Bride” and “Vendetta”.  Recorded to tape on an 8-track tape recorder at the ‘analog mecca’ Toe Rag Studios in London, the worldwide famous studio where The White Stripes penned “Elephant”, “S.P.A.C.E.” is the fifth studio album by Calibro 35. From the storming imaginary main title notes of the title track “S.P.A.C.E.” to the percussive effects and creepy organ of “Serenade for a satellite”, with incursions into cosmic afrobeat (“Ungwana Bay Launch Complex”), lunar funk (“Bandits On Mars”) and trippy atmospheres (“Something Happened on Planet Earth”), in “S.P.A.C.E.” Calibro 35 sound as cinematic and groovy as ever. Released in 2018, “DECADE“marked 10 years of Calibro 35’s career and it’s the very first album recorded by Calibro with an orchestral-inspired enlarged line-up that features horns, strings and percussions. Mixed and recorded by CALIBRO’s usual suspect and Grammy Award winner Tommaso Colliva, on the album all the influences collected by the band during their last ten years’ journey like music, collaborations, movies, gigs, books find their space. “DECADE” is CALIBRO 35’s “time capsule” and it is as rare and complex as a timeless work.

The reissue is part of the second series of trilogies published by Record Kicks about the Milanese band. The first trilogy, which was about the first three albums “Calibro 35“, “The Return of” and “Any Resemblance“, was released in 2020.
