The Soul Fantastics, led by Soul singer Samuel Archer, recorded these two killers at the end of the 60s. “Funky Puggin” was originally released on Taboga Records and on the peruvian Sono Radio. This tune is one of the heaviest cut produced in the isthmus, full of uh ah and breaks, truly a deep latin funk tune! Funky Pluggin was also released on Soul Fantastics’ debut album “Soul full woman / Se que vendras” in 1969. On the flip the even rarer “Soul Train”, another latin funk stormer that will gonna make you move as much as the A side. Soul Train was originally released on Toboga 45, the original 45 is one of the most in demand latin 7” around these days, top notch tropical funk. Hot as hell!
